Data Deletion Instructions
You may request deletion of information submitted through a website or Meta Lead Ads form, as well as the administrator and connection data created when a Business, Page, or form is connected to Unimi.
1. Submit a deletion request
Email contact@unimi.io with the subject Data Deletion Request — Meta. You do not need a Unimi account to submit a request.
- For a lead record, include the name and email address or telephone number submitted in the form.
- If known, include the approximate date and the Page, form, or campaign where the inquiry was submitted.
- For connection data, include the CMS account email and the name of the connected Business or Page.
Do not send a government ID or other sensitive document unless we specifically request limited verification information.
2. Disconnect Meta immediately
An authorized administrator can open Integrations in the CMS, choose Meta Lead Ads, and select Disconnect. This immediately deletes the encrypted access token, stops new lead retrieval, and attempts to remove the Page's webhook subscription.
Disconnection does not automatically delete leads already stored, selected Business, Page and form identifiers, or connection audit events. Submit a full deletion request under section 1 to remove those records where permitted.
3. What happens next
- We acknowledge receipt of the request.
- We perform reasonable verification to prevent deletion of another person's or business's data.
- We locate relevant records in the CRM and operational systems under our control.
- We delete or anonymize information that is no longer required and confirm completion, or explain any lawful limitation.
We normally complete a valid request within 30 days. If additional time is required, we will explain why. Isolated backups are removed through the ordinary backup cycle and are not restored to active use.
4. Lead data covered by the request
- The lead record and submitted contact details.
- The message and custom answers received from the website or Meta form.
- Source identifiers such as form, Page, ad, or campaign.
- CRM status, notes, assignment, and operational communications relating to the inquiry.
5. Administrator and connection data covered
- The email address of the user who connected Meta.
- Selected Business, Page, and Lead Ads form identifiers and names.
- Granted permissions, connection status, and health-check timestamps.
- Connection, disconnection, and operational error events.
The access token itself is deleted on disconnection and is not retained as connection history. Deleting an entire CMS user or workspace is assessed separately so that we do not delete information belonging to other authorized users of the same business.
6. Facebook and Instagram records
A request to Unimi removes copies held in systems controlled by Unimi. Settings, activity, or information retained in the Meta account itself are controlled separately by Meta and its own policies and tools.
7. More information
